Hi everyone!
Recently we have been introduced to Tapea Restaurant a fine dining restaurant situated in St Julians Malta, which serves a fine menu of Spanish gastronomy. From selections of iberics and cheeses served on platters, to seasonal creams and soups, to unique tapas dishes, meat, seasonal fish and seafood, the menu surely is catered for lovers of fine cuisine. We enjoyed it so much, that we returned once more, with friends ,this time to try out the New Tapas items recently introduced to the menu and to Share The Experience!
From the minute you are welcomed at the door by the team, you feel like you are entering a portal into Spain and you are transported to a fine experience. Whether you are going for a romantic rendez vous or putting together a table of four to six persons to enjoy a social evening together, you are certain that the ambiance itself with the decor of the place puts you at ease and you are ready to relax and just enjoy every minute! Elegant chairs and tables positioned to perfection, with plants and trees and soft lighting, music playing in the background, your soul starts to smile and you are preparing to sit at one of the tables allocated for you.
The Tapas menu, as you can see in the pictures is just so vast! From selections of artisan creamy croquettes of Iberian ham & mushrooms with truffle to artichoke hearts cooked in olive oil at low temperature and grilled with sea salt flakes & ham shavings to exquisite baby clams served with garlic and parsley dressing, we thoroughly enjoyed the selection of items to share. The selection of wines complement the dishes.
Wow. So many flavours and textures that truly deserve applause and recognition for excellence. The dessert was also a fantastic way to end our experience. We went for assorted ice creams of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry with crispy chocolate and their Catalonian Cream Brulé style served in a tall glass. Divine!
I ll let the images give you a tiny idea of our experience, but you truly do have to experience it for yourself! The service of this restaurant is also outstanding. You feel taken care of every step of the way. It is a wonderful feeling. Everyone is a VIP here. Everyone is treated as such.
