As you know me quite well by now, I prefer to give every single look I wear during FASHION WEEK the attention and spotlight it deserves, by dedicating one full blog post around it, when possible of course. So here I present to you the one I wore on my 3rd day of Milan Fashion Week. A lot of you saw it on Facebook and on my Instagram page – and granting I LOVE all the others, this one totally encompassed my mood – and so many people I spoke to that day simply loved. Whoaa!! Made my day all the more exhilarating!
I wore it wholeheartedly to an interview of an amazing Italian jewellery brand that I will soon go into detail about, I wore it to the 3 backstage sneak peaks with MAC Cosmetics, to the haute couture show by Curiel and also to Tommy Zhong’s presentation.
It consisted of an embroidered pale pink shirt, a long maxi skirt, a small brown suede bag and velvet hat – all by Italian high fashion brand MANGANO. Earrings are by Vitti Ferrie and my sunnies are Valentino. I felt so comfortable, all day long!

TOMMY ZHONG
Tommy Zhong’s presentation held at Sala delle Cavallerizze in Via Olona 6bis featured the Spring/Summer 2018 Collection and it was supported by the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, and the Fashion Avenue Academy.
This contemporary fashion collection focused on textile surface manipulation to present a landscape of silhouettes created from blocks of colour in a refined palette of black and white and interrupted by a burst of orange or pink. We saw an interesting collection with a metropolitan feel to it. The concrete surroundings exposed the chasms of fragility echoed in the juxtapositions of fabrics and raw finishes.
As you can see from the photos we took, each piece is completely unique and individual. My favourites are the black maxi dress and the colourful jacket worn by the beautiful red haired model. I also loved the black and white jacket. I also found the shoes to be lovely, available in both black and white patent. Enjoy these lovely photos!
The brand Tommy Zhong for those of you who are not familiar with it, is a brand that represents the union of Chinese and Western cultures: Jiagi Zhong of China working together with Jennifer Nelson who, while based in London, has a strong interest in Asia. Together their combined talents and expertise produce a wonderful chemical reaction through the innovation of fabrics and the language of art. Well done for this exhibition and thank you to Bookin’ Agency in Milan and Australian Gold Malta for organising our passes to this show!
