Music Video – the cover version of “All About The Bass” by Meghan Trainor.

The Why?

Music, like dance and any other form of art is a means of communication, a way of expressing one’s thoughts with others. In this case, I love this song because it is has a feel good factor with empowering messages to women out there to embrace their curves, to be proud of the women they have become and not change to please the men they are attracted to. .. and while we re at it please girls and guys, let’s stop excessive use of photoshopping on photos and over use of filters. Sometimes we cannot even recognise someone in person they change their image so much.

However, the reason why I am sharing this second video project, after the first one last year ” You are not alone” by Michael Jackson is because I wish to share with my followers and anyone watching is that a year and a half ago, I started singing lessons and slowly I have gained enough confidence to sing in public and I am loving it. I was so scared of a microphone before I would never dare try. Now, I learn something every week and I feel so empowered doing something special for myself. It is challenging for me to do something that I had never done before. I am 44 years old now and my message to all of you out there is that it’s never too late to try new things, take new courses, grow and learn and have fun in life. Life is a like a playground. Let’s have more fun and spread more joy rather than being to serious and spreading bad news. I wish to share my journey with other women especially, who often fear ridicule or fear they are not good enough. You are good enough. If you put your mind to something, you will find a way of doing it! If I have, you sure can do it too!

This project of recording it, filming it and putting it together on a low budget was fun to do and I would like to thank all the sponsors for helping me. Thanks to Mark Spiteri who is also part of singing this one with me and to our vocal coach Gillian Attard. I am no professional singer, but I m a woman who is having fun learning, and creating joyful content on the internet alongside all the other fun posts on Instagram and Facebook in my Fashion & Lifetstyle Blog at graziellecamilleri.com

I hope you like it and share it with your friends. Yeah.. Share the Love! What goes around….
