Earlier this month, I was one of the fortunate ladies on the island to attend another VIP event organised by SCENTONIQ MALTA, retailers and distributors of niche fragrance brands in Malta. This luxury event, organised at Over Grain’s roof terrace at the AX Rossini Privilege Hotel in Valletta on Thursday 8th June was to be a celebration of class, exuberance.

The team of expert perfumers revealed each fragrance’s intricate craftsmanship and hidden nuances, offering attendees a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a symphony of captivating scents.
Guests were treated to a meticulously curated selection of canapés from the renowned Michelin Star Kitchen of Grain, accompanied by a generous flow of fine wines. The delightful ambience was enhanced by the enchanting music of DJ Mari Mars and a live performance by a saxophonist, all while enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Valletta from the rooftop oasis.
I feel so privileged to be a part of this team as the Brand Ambassador for SCENTONIQ Malta. This was the second event I attended. The first one was held a month ago in their boutique at the Strand in Sliema.
Why is Xerjoff one of the best niche perfume brands: This Italian high luxury niche fragrance brand at Scentoniq Malta, with their sleek bottles and artistic packaging, both Xerjoff and Casamorati presented during this event, have something to offer to every perfume enthusiast.
The Xerjoff Group actually consists of two brands, Xerjoff and Casamorati.
Casamorati was originally launched in Italy in 1888 as a perfume house that enjoyed great success all over the world for its magnificent fragrances and bath soaps. Unfortunately, around the mid-twentieth century, it was forced to close down due to a financial crisis these perfumes disappeared from the market until… Sergio Momo, founder of Xerjoff, decided to bring Casamorati back to the glories of the beginning of the century!
The XERJOFF brand was launched by Sergio Momo with the aim of blending the most luxurious raw materials to complement the most affluent global lifestyles through the combination of old-world craftsmanship, the finest raw ingredients and a contemporary artistic sensibility.
In Xerjoff and Casamorati releases, many have found their all-time favourite perfume because of the wide variety of fresh and oriental compositions.
From the display, I think that my favourite fragrance from the house is Casamorati Dolce Amalfi which is a warm, spicy, and fruity explosion of monumental goodness, easily wearable in all seasons of the year.
XERJOFF AND CASAMORATI FRAGRANCES TO CHECK OUT:
• Xerjoff Mefisto – a citrus aromatic fragrance released in 2009. The main notes include lavender, grapefruit, and iris. The lasting power is 10 – 12 hours with great projection.
• Xerjoff Alexandria II – a woody aromatic fragrance released in 2012. The main notes include palisander rosewood, lavender, and oud. The lasting power is 24+ hours with fantastic projection.
XERJOFF’S HOLY GRAIL SCENT
Naxos celebrates Sicily and its beauty, and accentuates its Mediterranean character with the composition. A refreshing take on already tired tobacco/honey scent DNA with additional notes of lavender and citruses.
Often compared to fragrances such as Mugler’s A*Men Pure Havane and Bogart Pour Homme, but without a doubt, I can say that Naxos is on a whole another level of raw ingredients, composition, and blending.
The scent is dominated by the notes of honey, tobacco, and lavender. This is definitely one of the most beautiful cold-weather fragrances that I have ever smelled. Luxurious, classy, bold, long-lasting, and beautiful.
