Weekend Break at Salini Resort

We just returned from a family weekend break at Salini Resort Malta.

I must say right from the start how impressed we were with everything at this resort that sits on an elevated slope overlooking Salina Bay and the Mediterranean Sea. From the moment we arrived at the welcoming lobby, the receptionist was so charismatic and professional with introducing us to the place. Since this was our first stay here, I was keen to listen to what was on offer from breakfast to the amenities to all the restaurants and the Spa available.

The room was ready at noon when we arrived so we immediately went up to the room, a seaview room and as I showed in my social media platforms on Instagram and Facebook  via our arrival videos, you could see how beautiful and clean the rooms are.

The 4-star Salini Resort offers 2 outdoor pools and an indoor pool.

The Infinity Pool is just the spot where you can kick back and chill with all the family. Let the kids splash to their hearts’ content while you enjoy a scrumptious lunch and the luxurious sun loungers.

For a more tranquil background, child-free one can enjoy the crystalline waters of the dedicated adults-only Lagoon Pool. Surrounded by gorgeous scenery, one can enjoy some peace and quiet, work on your tan or sip a cocktail, and relax by the bar.

We made use of the family pool since we were enjoying a family break accompanied by Luna.

We loved the breakfast options available! There were lots of options for all tastes, from savoury to sweet options, juices, teas and coffees, fruit all buffet style, it s a type of eat as much as you like option, with several waiters clearing and cleaning tables. I loved the olive trees inside the restaurant! It gives the place a relaxing feeling of kind of being outdoors while being indoors.

Our room was large, full of light and spacious and Luna had her own little bed which she filled with all her soft toys. The beds are comfortable and the airconditioning was just right, not too cold and not weak, so we had the best undisturbed restful sleep here.

We stayed in a Superior Seaview Room

Designed for utmost relaxation and comfort, the Superior Seaview Rooms are situated on the uppermost floors of the hotel and enjoy spanning sea views.

Stylishly crafted and luxuriously finished; all rooms come complete with a private balcony, coffee making facilities and all the finishing touches that you would expect from a luxury 4-star hotel.

We loved it! Maybe next time we visit, we can try the Penthouse Suite which I didn’t know they offered!

Vecchia Napoli Restaurant at Salini Resort

We dined twice at Vecchia Napoli. It offers the perfect backdrop for those merry moments that are made to be cherished.   They are known for our Napolitan pizza dough made by their master pizzaiolos and topped with curated ingredients.

Their menu doesn’t stop at the pizza though, but it also features a mouthwatering range of pasta dishes, refreshing salads, and of course scrumptious Italian desserts. We had a mix of all the above, both days … and we were very happy customers!

So I d like to say Cheers to the lovely weekend we had and Thank You to all the team at Salini Resort for their kind service and professional hospitality!

May many other holiday makers have as much a wonderful time as we had.

Much love

xxx
