Back from my recent vacation and straight back into full swing in Malta, I very happily attended a launch by Cortex Ltd last week, one that launched a new range of products for men called DEPOT®. With an advanced and complete concept, Depot celebrates the traditions of male grooming with sophisticated products, modern must-haves based on traditional formulas. They are true classics updated for today’s man.
In a more fast-paced world, when many men are returning to visit the old-fashioned barbers to get a special-shave ritual, others are visiting the hairdresser more often for a haircut or a more of a cutting-edge style. Men, especially bearded men, have certainly become more conscious about their looks and about fashion, so the launch of these new products is very well timed in the hair industry.
DEPOT® offers a full range of men’s products to meet the demands of a changing men’s market, molded to fit their needs. Specific, high quality products with a strong identity were created for demanding professionals in the male market.
ABOUT THE EVENT
The event held by Cortex Ltd at Giardini Lambrosa was a very exciting one attended by several hairdressers and Maltese personalities from Malta and Gozo. At the door, we were welcomed with a red carpet and pretty hostesses wearing casual attire, chequered shirts and jeans, which complemented the look and feel of the brand’s merchandising very well.
This event kicked off with a speech by the very humble Robert Micallef, who is the heart and soul of Cortex Ltd in which he said what an exciting moment it is for his company to take over this new line of products and he thanked all his team for their continued hard work and support. This was followed by a brand outline presentation by the ever so charming Carlos Lopez, Brand Technician for DEPOT®.
At the same time, on the stage, we all witnessed Malta’s official hair technician Clint from YUVA House of Beauty in Zebbug performing very trendy live shaves and cuts using the new Depot hair products and he explained as he went along. It was very entertaining and informative. Well done to all the team for a well organised presentation. After this we were invited to enjoy free-flowing food and drinks at this beautiful venue and we were also invited to dance.I had to leave early as I had an early filming session the following morning so unfortunately I didn’t get to dance much!
