Thanks to Roderick Falzon, today I was invited to attend the Land Rover Fest in Malta. Between the hours of 8 am and 3 pm, Ta Qali saw a wide range of beautiful landies come together to celebrate their passion. There were various models including Range Rovers, Defender 90s and much more!
The majority were Defenders which have acquired a cult following among mud-loving off-road enthusiasts across the globe and have a huge following in Malta too. Over 50 landies in various colours and trimmings, it is always such fun to see how every owner is able to give it a very personal touch. When you own a Land Rover, it is a fact that you automatically become part of a big family and this is what Land Rover Malta tried to highlight today in the event.
In today’s event, Land Rover owners and enthusiasts got together to exhibit their cars to the general public, and there were also some muddy rides in the offroad section. Such fun to watch!
You might know this, maybe not but I was a proud owner of a black Defender 90 with a V8 engine about 10 years ago and sometimes I miss it! I wonder who drives it today?! Would be pretty cool to find out.
