SUMMER ON THE STEPS

Hello Everyone!

It was only a few weeks ago, that I had a fun night out at a fashion event held on the steps of Valletta’s iconic Ursula Street. 3 talented, ambitious and dedicated Maltese fashion designers showcased some of their summer collection creations to an excited crowd standing alongside the cascade of stairs. This event was organised by all the designers, under the guidance and support of the Chamber of Fashion Malta.

Who were the three designers showcasing their work?

James Dimech, Carla Grima  and Natasha Polidano – all delivering their unique signature styles, very different to eachother in terms of styles and fabrics and mood.

This made the fashion event more exciting for us watching!

I will let the beautiful images speak for themselves …..

What did I wear?

I wore a romantic long gown by  local designer Gaetano. Had I known it was a standing event, I would not have worn a long gown. It was a challenging task to move around, to arrive on site and to stand on site on the stairs, without tripping in my own dress! I can imagine that for the models participating, hundreds of stairs downhill and uphill are not as fun as a straightforward runway, but they all smashed it – and that s what counts! That victory!

I really enjoyed the event. We were welcomed with some wine and music and that just got me in the chill mode, so grateful to be back at fashion events documenting videos and posts on my Insta page, Facebook page and this blog itself.

last but not least …..

NATASHA POLIDANO

Thank you so much for having me at this event!

I truly appreciated the work of all 3 designers and enjoyed this social activity with beautiful people in Valletta City!

If you spot any of your friends, share this BLOG POST with them.

Sharing is Caring.

Much Love to All!
