One week before Fashion Week I started a DERMACOSMETIC facial treatment course at Academie Wellness and Facial Lounge managed by Marion Camilleri consisting of 6 soft peeling sessions (which can be used during the cold winter months as well as the hot summer months) obviously using the home recommended treatment protocol. I wanted to ensure that my skin was fully prepped before all the stressful week and for it to have that extra glow for all those photos!
I don’t make enough time for these treats for my face and when I do, I remind myself how important it is to do these lovely things for myself, not only for my appearance but for my general wellbeing.

ABOUT THE DERMOCOSMETIC SOFT PEELING TREATMENT
My skin was thoroughly cleansed by the super talented Josephine with two specific cleansers from the Academie range that relate to the DERMOCOSMETIC peeling course. My first treatment was one of six treatments that I will be experiencing in a span of three months in order to achieve optimum professional results.
The treatment was applied on the skin and left on and then cleansed. The treatment was done manually with no additional machines. While the treatment phase was in action on the skin I was treated to a hands, arms and feet massage using a fantastic body butter by Academie. The experience is very pleasant and it does not hurt or itch or burn at all! I’m sure you will be pleased to hear that! I loved it 😉
At the end, I felt as if I had a full hour of face and body massage. To be honest, I also dozed off a few times I felt so relaxed in the comfortable luxury bed, The treatment ended by using the recommended protocol which includes the treatmentt hydrating cream and the non stick transparent sun block adapted to my skin type which I also was given to take home to keep up. As you see from my Instagram Stories @graziellecamilleri, I keep the skincare products in my spare bathroom to make sure I go there to enjoy this regime twice a day!
RESULTS TO DATE
The results of the treatment were immediate as I could visually see an oxygenating effect on my skin thus giving that fresh glow to the skin. I took the products home and have been using them for 4 weeks now and I have also had another soft peeling treatment after Fashion Week and I am noticing my skin is looking so radiant, so much so that I am not wearing much make up during the day and I just apply make up when I have to go out to an event or a special date with family or friends.
I highly recommend this treatment to both ladies or men who which to improve their skin conditions and you can do it in summer also which is great for me as I do love my sunshine and sunbathing time, as you very well know.
