Hello August! You are finally here. We get so creative with our fashion styles. A lot of us go on holidays or mini breaks to unwind and re-charge! Make sure to top up your wardrobes and suitcases with some must-have items. Our favourite stores have started their Sales and discounts so do pop in and check them out! We are back in Malta this week, and noticed lots of traffic on the road due to an influx of tourists to the Maltese islands and so many infrastructural developments happening. So, for small errands and when I don’t have to drop off or pick up the little one or transport large objects, I tend to use my motorcycle much more than I do in winter. I usually drive a Honda PCX, so convenient! – but I was recently attracted to take this cutie out for a test drive as it looked so tempting!

The Lexmoto agent and friend in Malta, Gerald J Zammit at MG Wheels Scooters & Motorcycles prepared the bike for me and met me at Bahar ic-Caghaq to allow us to take this pretty bike for a test drive and organise a photo shoot at the same time. First we did the photoshoot, to capture the right images for the blog and to be sent to Lexmoto overseas and then I changed outfit to feel more safe and protected whilst driving this beauty around St Paul’s Islands and Golden Sands! What fun!
I teamed up with River Island at The Point for my outfit, Alberto at Niumee for my stylish summery hair style and Jilienne at Melita Health & Beauty for my lovely make up. I’m really happy with the result of these photos! The agent loves them. The lighting was perfect and we had a good time shooting too which is the most important thing. These ripped denim shorts are ombre with pink and white shading and the white top I’m wearing here is embroidered with pretty flowers. I styled them with this pink bag and these flat shoes which are perfect for riding scooters and these round Rayban sunnies. Well, I liked the outfit so much that I ended up buying it all too, shoes and all! – true story.
About the Lexmoto Milano
The scooter model I picked to show you is a Lexmoto Milano and it’s a 125 CC. it is so attractive and reminds me at first glance of the Italian Vespas you see roaming around in the Italian streets and this glossy red colour is just gorgeous. The classic styling is presented in a choice of 3 stylish colour options with a tan coloured seat to encapsulate that 60`s Mod style!
Sometimes riding a scooter is about more than just a method of transport. It`s not just a vehicle it`s an expression of who you are, an extension of your lifestyle or your current mood. Some people have the luxury of having 3 or more motorcyles and use the one that suits their needs that day. This could be an interesting option right?
The Lexmoto Milano is one that offers classic styling together with a reliable 125 cc motor. The Milano uses Super bright LED indicators to ensure that other road users are not only admiring the bike but are aware of where you are heading. It’s not a Vespa, and it’s doubtful that it will be taking any kind of slice out of Vespa’s market but for a cash strapped new rider looking for “the look” without the cost it is very tempting and I’m considering getting it. I’d like to look at other options though before I decide! If I take another bike out, you will be the first to know 😉
In the meantime I will keep enjoying the summer, ice creams and all!
