Hola! How are you all? I’m just enjoying this moment in time. Recently Malta has welcomed a stunning rooftop venue at InterConinental Malta, a 5 star luxury venue open to its exclusive guests in the summer months. What a fab place and what fun the opening party was! Thanks for having us! With regards to fashion, there are a few trends that are dominating my Spring/Summer 2017 wardrobe. First of all the “Festival Trend” as you have seen with some of my floral outfits on the blog and what I wear day in day out from my Instagram Stories. This summer, lots of sophisticated boho, showing not too much skin, but lots of colours and pretty patterns. Then there’s the “Colour Pop” trend which I translate mostly to the bag or shoes I wear. Bright picks in patent or leather suits me just fine.

My diversion to the more colourful side of my wardrobe became a further to the far floral corners and fancy bold patterns. Any case, with wedding and pool party season in full swing, thought it would be the perfect timing to start wearing some pretty summer-florals again. When it comes to a floral print I’m either deterred by it or totally appealed to it. I cannot really put my finger on what exactly makes a floral print good or bad to my taste but this dress fresh of the racks of River Island at The Point definitely made the cut and I love it!
This red purse is a recent purchase from BATA during a party held this month while the shoes are also new babies from a store called Dolce at BayStreet. To finish off the look I styled the dress with these black Versace shades from Vision Opticians. I’ve worn this dress to a birthday dinner party last weekend, and been wearing it this week another time already. I guess the loose fit in combination with the richness of the print, made it perfect. Looking at it, it makes me long for long summer evenings and romantic dinner dates with my husband! Aah what a terrible romantic I am! I just love this season. Can you tell? 😉
