It’s already the third day of a fabulous week in Malta’s fashion calendar during the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Malta 2016. Today, at Fort St Angelo, we were invited to enjoy three fantastic fashion shows by designers Gaetano, Anna Romysch and Adalia B.
I wanted to wear a special dress to blend in with Adalia’s pretty floral theme show called Secret Garden and the bridal gown fashion show by Anna Romysh. It also had to be something a little outstandish to wear to Gaetano’s show. So I went for this dress by Elisabetta Franchi from Rebelli.
I like the colour which complements my skin tone, I love it’s feminine yet edgy design with it being short at the front and longer at the back, with that ribbon detailing down the front, Elisabetta Franchi’s signature design from her spring/summer 2016 collection.
I paired it with a statement necklace, a contemporary Chiara P purse and a statement ring, all from the boutique called Porto in Malta. As for shoes, I wore a pair of vintage stilettos.
As to the hair styling, creative stylist at Mixa’s Salon came up with the idea of having the braiding on one side only to play on the idea of the stitching on the right hand side of the dress and a sleek ponytail back to give that aggressive look. Make up includes lots of bronze, gold and glitter on the eyes and highlighter contouring on the cheeks.
