Last Friday saw the Charles & Ron’s Fashion Show entitled Saints, Love and Mediterranean Lights. I was so excited to attend as I am a huge fan of this talented designer duo. Their collections are making waves internationally and that makes me so happy for them. Just back from Feeric Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week, Charles & Ron held this magnificent show in St Anne Square right in front of the church of B’Kara.
The Charles & Ron signature prints take on a more vivid style this Fall/ Winter 2016/17. The collection is inspired by colour schemes seen in churches and by the traditional decorative lights seen on a Maltese facades during village feasts. Some of these prints feature Maltese locations and in particular a crown worn by their village patron saint – St. Helen.
Warm Red, cardinal pink and saffron yellow are mixed together in a contemporary colour block pattern and the signature colour cardinal pink, also combined with rich classic camel and highlighted with black which remains a main in the Charles & Ron collections. The new bag designs are bold and designed to complement the collection.
As for the designs, very elegant and chic designed for the classy women and men of this day and age who are confident enough to wear items that make them feel confident and vibrant.
Here are pictures of my favourite pieces and so looking forward to wear some of these gorgeous designs soon!
