MILAN FASHION WEEK is such an amazing experience. It attracts not only industry professionals but also an enormous number of fashion enthusiasts. It is an event during which Milan simply goes insane! I love to see outlandish clothes, questionable colour combinations and textures, I spotted a few top celebrities and top models too! It is simply fashion heaven for us bloggers and media reporters. No matter how many Fashion Weeks I attend in different countries, the excitement within me never ceases to sparkle and shine!
So, let’s talk about the CARLOS GIL Fashion Show entitled “24 hours”. This stunning Fall/Winter Collection 2018/2019 inspired by the cities that never sleep, the woman who is constantly on the go living her passions from day to night, finding a balance in her life between work, family time and lots of social activity.

A designer I discovered in September in Milan last September, Carlos Gil never fails to disappoint. His style is elegant, stylish and so easy to wear. I just have a soft spot for his designs and I simply cannot pin point one or two items that I like because I just want to have them all.
The colour palatte in this collection mainly consisted of two groups of colours: One the one side warm tones and the other one including darker shades blended with glittery fabrics and metallics. A striped print appears as the graphic element of the collection and becomes one of the main keys of the narrative. The colour combinations are totally my style and they are styled beautifully and layered to perfection.
We saw various designs including long maxi dresses, trousers, mini dresses complemented and styled with jackets or coats in contrasting fabrics. We saw unexpected details inspired by the 70s and 80s and the Disco concept which gives his looks that urban yet chic feeling.
The music during the presentation was upbeat and fun and had the gorgeous models grace the runway gracefully, wearing their hair in contemporary style. The make up was also beautiful with pale blue eye shadow and glitter focus on the lower eye line. So fabulous and glam for the cosmopolitan woman who is always on the go and always ready every day and every hour and does what ever she wants to do in full style.
I cannot believe that I was here once again with front row seats kindly reserved by Carlos Gil for us to be able to enjoy this wonderful show in its full glory. I am so happy to have met Carlos Gil in person and he is such a lovely person too apart from being super talented. He oozes a gentle charisma and an infectious smile and he inspires us women to keep doing what we love and look stylish doing it.
