Imagine a glorious ballroom in an 18th Palazzo in Naxxar, Malta, one fit for glamorous queens and kings. Now imagine a beautiful crowd of fashionable ladies socialising and late night shopping while sipping champagne and sampling chocolates. That is just a tiny gist of what Carla Grima’s launch event held at Palazzo Parisio’s last week was about. Thanks to these lovely photos snapped by the Italian photographer Carlo Musco we can share a few memories of it!
The event was organised with great attention to detail by Carla Grima with assistance from Davinia Mallia Pule and Francesca Pace and supported by La Boutique at Palazzo Parisio, People and Skin, He & She Hair Salon and MakeUp by Rachel. Guests were invited to view and try on some of Carla’s Autumn/Fall Collection which includes cosy and trendy pieces – dresses, shawls and head bands made from angora wool dyed in green, red and navy blue pantones. My favourites are the body hugging dresses which you will see me wearing very soon in an upcoming feature .…
We also were able to appreciate and shop for beautiful one-off statement jewellery pieces and accessories from Palazzo Parisio’s Christmas Collection, we met Aussie Hair Products who were there promoting their shampoos and conditioners and there were also some pretty scented candles – basically all pretty gift ideas under one roof. The event was such fun! I’m glad I got to be there.
It is really lovely when talented women get together to organise these events and are so successful! Well done to all involved and thank you for inviting me! A big shout out of gratitude today also goes to Fashion F Café for this amazing dress from the new collection and 202 Jewellery for this gorgeous 3-piece-set I got to wear to this prestigious event in Malta.
