Excited is an understatement. So here on day one, the first of 6 days to relish at Mercedes-Benz Malta Fashion Week 2017 (#MFWA2017), this is what I wore. I chose to wear a formal two piece by the designer NILARA by Nilay Camilleri including a beaded crop top and a mermaid skirt. This top has hand sewn beading on the entire top and the waistline part of the skirt. You want an evening dress that will not only always look beautiful but make you feel beautiful.
Wearing this glamorous outfit made me feel like a princess in shining armour ready to face this wonderful fashion experience. Black is an elegant colour and we can never have enough of. Crop tops idea are currently trending in various designer collections in Europe and and US, so I thought I’d give it a go.
To accessorize, I styled the outfit with a plain satin clutch, black simple sandals and white diamante jewellery from 202 Jewellery. For the first day of the shows my hair was styled sleek and straight with a middle parting.
