Best Time of The Year

Hello there! Greetings. First of all I want to wish you all a Merry Monday, one of the last ones to enjoy in 2018 believe it or not, and secondly, thank you for coming to my blog today to find out what I’m up to, while you must have so many things going on already! Muchos gracias.

The holiday season is upon us, and as trivial as it sounds – despite the horrible events that happened over the past months in places like California where people must be distraught and struggling to survive in their currently shaken environment after the fires, with other people grieving the loss of loved ones,  I believe we should keep spreading joy and celebrating joyful moments together, set up our Christmas trees as a symbol of love and joy in our homes and look forward to Christmas and Thanksgiving as also a time of reflection and gratitude for every experience.

Let’s keep positive together for our own well being and for the sake of our children, by being more receptive to all the beautiful things that are happening and changing around us including all the generosity and compassion by so many fellow human beings who work day in day out dedicated to helping and being of service to others. We are also seeing a new spread all over the internet about more transparent information about new scientific and historical discoveries that are changing humanity’s potential growth and human consciousness, slowly but surely. There are so many beautiful things happening and it’s such a shame that news stations focus so much on the negative. For that reason I don’t watch much news on TV but instead I search on the internet for what I’m interested about.

It is also helpful this time of year more than ever to train ourselves to keep calm, by exercising to calm our mind with habits such as meditation and yoga, by praying and setting good intentions, to be able to react from a better position of love and wisdom when difficult situations arise without warning like our friends in the US.

2nd Christmas Outfit Idea – Fancy coat and trousers

This month, I’ve teamed up with some of my favourite fashion and accessory brands, and put together the perfect holiday wardrobe. This is the second outfit I’m sharing with you following the rose gold dress in the blog titled SHIMMER AND SHINE THIS CHRISTMAS. I hope you like how I styled it!

It is an outfit idea for a Christmas after-work event with colleagues for example or a weekday night out with friends as it is smart and elegant and yet very comfortable and cosy. I know for a fact that some ladies out there don’t like to wear dresses and skirts so much and they prefer to go for a beautiful coat and trousers instead. This could be an option for you 😉

This is in fact a look I wore two weeks ago on a particular day when I had two important work meetings, followed by date night with my husband just after work, and I must admit that I felt comfortable and confident in this outfit all day.

Details on how I achieved this look

This is a full look from River Island’s latest collection at The Point in Malta including the jeans with gold tapering on the side, the black sweater, the coat and the handbag. The sunglasses are from Vision Opticians.

One accessory that stands out in this look is definitely the statement necklace from GABA. It is a gold coloured silver necklace by the Italian brand BASSI made in silver 925. Once I wore this necklace, the entire look took a powerful dimension. There I was all ready to rock and roll in look, mind and spirit! My meetings went even better than I expected and date night was lovely too!

Well, I hope you enjoyed my Blog today and that this look was inspiring. Until the next one, I wish you all a fantastic week ahead!

Love and light
