Hi everyone. Thank you so much for coming to my blog today to find out what I’m up to, while you must have so many things going on already. I am currently on Christmas vacation in the Canary Islands which you can follow on Instagram story, but I’m still working every day to release all these blogs into the New Year. It comes with the job I love and I don’t mind at all.
What to wear to a Christmas party that is not gala and not casual? Well glad you asked. For men, this means a suit that actually fits haha – kidding; For women, this could mean a dress that isn’t two years old and that you haven’t been seen in and the other thing about office parties …What you wear sends out a sort of message. You want to show that you are attractive and not necessarily that boring person you see day in day out at your desk and not so over the top sexy that you want to hit on at the party or?..You know what I mean!
The Look
So, here today I have put together this outfit, a look that is somewhere in between. It is not a cocktail dress but a top, trousers and a lovely coat for those of you who like to be more comfortable but still make that effort to look nice and special and Christmassy! All the clothing items, including the shoes and the bag are from River Island at The Point.
These fabulous earrings and bracelet are Dyrberg/Kern from 202 Jewellery. They are elegant and can be worn with so many outfits both smart or casual. Something I learnt is that all DYRBERG/KERN design is managed from the design studios at their headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark, where a skilled team of designers sketch the collections. After the seasonal fashion themes, trends and seasonal materials and colours are decided and each jewellery style is determined, the production takes place in various work-shops in Asia, where manufacturers produce the collection according to their design and quality standards. Materials, such as pearls, stones, crystals and leather are sourced all over the world depending on the season. The prices are very affordable too!
We photographed this Office Party look in the reception area of The Victoria Hotel in Sliema because it is so welcoming and cosy and they are very busy with staff parties at the moment. Thank you to the all the staff and management for your warm welcome and assistance despite your busy schedules!
