Inglot Launch Event at The Point Shopping Mall

Last week, it was with immense pleasure that I accepted the invite to attended the ROCS GROUP launch at their super modern Inglot outlet at The Point . That day I actually experienced the Inglot concept store all afternoon, including having my hair blow dried and my makeup done by Ola the talented, enthusiastic makeup technician who was flown in from Inglot Poland for this eventful month.

ROCS makes it a huge point to be at The Point Shopping Mall in Sliema. ROCS GROUP kicks off with a full array from their business portfolio including Inglot, Inglot The Studio, Perfumes & More, Rocs Travel, Insurance and Life insurance divisions and Emirates Holidays. These are very exciting moments for all involved especially Rachel Vella and Colin Aquilina with all their employees, many of which have been working with the company for over a decade.

Inglot and Inglot Studio offer a wide array of services including professional make-up services, hair styling, nail technician services and consultations for hair and makeup. And of course you can shop to your heart’s content for all the makeup you need or think you need. It is a fact that us women go to shop for that one item we need and end up leaving the store with an entire haul. That is also what happened to the soul behind Inglot, the entrepreneur Rachel Vella many years ago the first time she entered an Inglot store, and with a lot of perseverance and passion for her work they launched Inglot in Malta and is what it is today!

On a personal level, I just have great admiration for Rachel Vella who I have known from many years ago on Tista Tkun Int! (It Could Be You!); Maltese people and followers will remember the local TV programme with all the exciting stories when Rachel who used to host and produce this popular TV programme, used to find ways of re-uniting persons who hadn’t met for years or for example gave beautiful surprises to persons who deserved them. I was one of the resident dancers back then with the troupe called Aceline Dancers and that is where I met her first! Since then, Rachel and her team have focused their energies to grow their businesses and to do what they do best – offer a wide range of high quality travel, insurance and beauty services on the islands.

This is no easy task when you are also a mum and you feel you need to give importance to your children and family too. I just have great admiration for all people, especially strong women who plough through things to get things done properly and professionally and Rachel is certainly one of these! I loved your speech and it was very special to also have Mr Inglot himself there for your launch. I had the honour of speaking with him and having a selfie with him and he is very happy with Inglot in Malta. Hats off to you all!

The event

The event was extremely pleasant with interesting guests and a lovely set up too! Outside the store was transformed by Adrian J Mizzi and his team into a type of outdoor venue including red carpet and entertainment and bar area – all in one day! With beautiful hostesses wearing Mangano dresses and Christian the wonderful singer and with so many fun conversations with so many beautiful people I know in the fashion and beauty industry, I had so much fun. What a great way to end 2016 and begin a new venture at The Point! Thank you so much for the invite and for the lovely treat!
