SLADANA KRSTIC, a very talented fashion designer from Croatia presented a show during a gala dinner event in Milan this Fashion Week. Myself and Denis Aljush were honoured to be amongst the elite number of international and local VIP guests selected to attend her show. The atmosphere amongst so many fashionistas coming together in this moment was just magical. I’m sure that new friendships have sparked that night .. but more of that some other time 😉

I have seen one of her collections in an event organised by the Malta Chamber of Fashion in Malta last year so it was a pleasant surprise to witness this new show in Milan! Sladana is a wonderful, charismatic personality of a woman. She exudes positive attitude, an immeasurable “ joie de vivre” which comes through in her work and her designs. We witnessed a myriad of coloured gowns and sculptural floral inspired headwear. Her style reminds me of theatrical performances.
We saw a selection of long dresses, and two piece outfits outlining the designer’s strength which is the manipulation of interesting fabrics and mixing of textures to create show-stopping, memorable pieces for us to enjoy!
