Hola my friends! I hope that the summer is treating you well, that you are enjoying it and that the sweltering heat is not making you hate the season. Everywhere you go this week in Malta, the discussion is about how hot the weather is, about how they’d much rather stay indoors in air-conditioned rooms, than go outdoors. I am definitely feeling the heat but I’m just fighting it, by keeping hydrated, wearing light garments and getting things done albeit slowly but surely. August is still a very busy month, so we just have to kick it and go! More hours in the pool and at the beach after work are also on our agenda!
Last week was my first week back in Malta after our lovely vacation in Tenerife getting back to speed on the work front and getting organised at home with a kitchen that is getting a total revamp. Yes! I hope that you enjoyed all the blog posts we released from the Canary Islands and the one of the red Lexmoto scooter this week from Malta. We’re so happy with them and the fact that we have now reached 15,000 Likes on our Facebook Page Blog by Grazielle is superb!

The Look
I couldn’t wait to wear this pretty convertible wrap dress from Chante Boutique and accessorised with these glamorous pieces of Bronzallure jewellery from 202 Jewellery, Vogue sunnies and gorgeous make up and off I went to enjoy a lovely date with my husband. This was on the last night of our holiday – a sweet way of setting closure to the lovely holiday and celebrating our 3 years of marriage. Where did we go?
Stone Grill @ Los Cristianos, Tenerife
One place that has been a personal favourite of ours in Los Cristianos Tenerife is a place called Stone Grill and I will tell you why. Apart from serving exquisite barraquitos, sangrias, paellas and very good quallty Spanish and Mediterranean food, with a selection of items cooked on their special grill, and to top this all a seafront view of Los Cristianos beach, there is this amazing person who works there called Daisy who is so kind and friendly that she makes you want to go there over and over again.
I visit this place a minimum of 4 times during every holiday, so I have also made friends with Daisy and also her manager Raul. They have been following my blog since the very beginning two years ago and they are big fans so much that they asked me if I minded featuring them in one of my blogs. Here it is!
For our 3rd wedding anniversary, Marco and I were invited to enjoy a romantic dinner at the Stone Grill, courtesy of the house. This is what we enjoyed! First of all we had a refreshing cocktail as a welcome drink in their chill area on the second floor after which we sat down for our meal.
As for the starters, we had Iberico ham Joselito, officially declared the best iberico ham in the world with some accompanying manchego cheese and tomato bread. We had some king prawns served with 3 different tasting dips and served with a hot plate heated at a very high temperature and you are asked to cook it yourself, for the fun of it. It is an enjoyable experience to do with a partner of friends.
As a main dish, we went for the black rice with baby squid, served with garlic sauce. This is a very traditional dish for Barcelona and Cataluña and this place is definitely one of the top places that make it so tasty and well textured. Not sticky but cooked to the perfect temperature and body. We also had some flllet steaks a la piedra meaning we could cook them on the stone grill as it is a speciality of theirs and not having that when you go is almost a sin! Speaking of sins and tempting calories, we had to order dessert so we went for their speciality mousse and the fruit platter and ice cream dish, very refreshing end to our meal.
As usual this was a very pleasant evening a pleasant ending to yet another wonderful vacation on the Canarian Island of Tenerife where we did so many fun activities including jet skiing, visiting water parks, photo shooting with new companies, we went swimming and clubbing and just had so much quality time with our extended family who joined us in the last week. We will be returning to both the island and this restaurant later on in the year so I hope they also enjoyed this blog as much as we enjoyed preparing it!
