After a hectic year and a great deal of end of year parties, one after the other, my skin felt the stress and showed signs of fatigue, so first thing I did was try to relax over the holidays, by having a few make-up free days and by giving my skin some vitamins back through what I ate, drank and the skincare products I used. I thought the end of year holiday to be the perfect opportunity to test some of these products that were given to me by Melita Health & Beauty during their beauty event held in November. In the goodie bag, I was thrilled to find these 3 products by Elisabeth Arden which I kept safely until now that I tried them.
1. FLAWLESS FUTURE Powered by Ceramide™ Caplet Serum
This luxurious serum featuring suspended caplets, rejuvenates the look of tired skin for a smooth, radiant and energized complexion instantly and over time. Immediately, upon application the skin feels hydrated and moisturised, you notice that the skin texture and radiance are improved for a smooth and radiant looking complexion and the short-term effects of stress on skin are relieved so you are looking fresh and radiant from the first application!
2. FLAWLESS FUTURE Powered by Ceramide™ Moisture Cream Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30
I used very small amounts of this luxurious cream for three days in a row. Enriched with revitalizing Ceramide Skin Identical Matrix, Protective Protein Complex, skin brighteners, and pore refiners, this cream penetrates the skin’s surface quickly and you can visibly see that the pores are smoothened and the appearance of skin discolorations is reduced. With continued use, it helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Skin is left looking smooth, supple, luminous and more even toned. I really liked its texture and the way it worked so quickly without leaving my skin looking oily.
3. CERAMIDE GOLD Ultra Restorative Capsules
These I was super excited to try! They look complicated to use in their capsules but they are, on the contrary – super easy. The Ceramide Gold Intensive Treatment for face and throat comes in very easy to use capsules. I used them on their own but you can also choose to apply moisturiser after that. I don’t really like to layer my skincare since the ingredients in one skincare may offset the other. You don’t want your skin not able to achieve the benefits right? These capsules contain several essential vitamins including the CLX Complex which deliver the restorative power of Ceramides and essential lipids to strengthen skin’s moisture barrier and help fight the visible signs of time. By using these capsules, you visibly notice an improvement in the skin texture, tone and clarity and helps diminish the appearance of dark spots and discolorations you have. Skin appears firmer and uplifted while the very fine lines and wrinkles look softened and smoothed. At first, you think it is oily but this all is absorbed into the skin and the skin retains what it needs for its restorative action that day. I really saw a visible difference after 3 days and I recommend ladies and gentlemen to try them out.
