Pedro Pedro at Milan Fashion Week 2017

This week I’m so thrilled to be Milan, one of the world’s most important fashion capitals, along with ParisNew York and LondonMilan Fashion Week 2017 so far has been one fantastic experience for me. Racing from one show to the next in taxis trying to make it on time. I would not want to miss out on anything that I’m so fortunate to be a part of. Milan city incorporates luxury, art, cuisine and culture; It’s just the perfect place for fashionistas and industry enthusiasts. It is so inspiring to see all these wonderful collections and to be able to share some of these with you!

One of the shows I enjoyed yesterday was the one by designer Pedro Pedro. You might have come across his work featured in fashion magazines including “Vogue”, “Elle” and “Collezione Donna”.The spring/ summer 2018 collection during Milan Fashion Week 2017 was one gorgeous, dynamic story of love, freedom and movement, streetstyle fashion with a modern twist on 80s style as we know it.

On the catwalk, we saw comfortable pieces of basic design in geometric prints in a range of psychedielic tones ranging from shocking pink to lime green to red and orange.

The materials such as polyamides mixed with denim, muslin and also knitting. We saw interesting frizz, elastic, twisted sack and kimono lines.

Hair styling by the team at Vasco Freitas was left loose, styled away to reveal the models’ beautifully chiselled cheekbones in a wet look, kind of wind-swept finish to compliment the styles of the comfortable fashion designs. Make up by Beautick was gorgeous. Very basic, simple foundation

I absolutely loved the contrasting colour combinations and the designs. Colours make us happier right so wearing one of these combinations would keep any person blissful all day! Loved it. Thank you for the invitation.

Here is a video of the finale! What do you think?
