Hi Again! This week I was one of the lucky ladies to be treated to a lovely evening of fashion, elegance and socialising at a Fashion Show event held by Luisa Spagnoli Malta. This event was held at the beautiful Hilltop Gardens in Naxxar and all proceeds collected went towards the Malta Community Chest Fund Charity.
The models co-ordinated by Marisa Grima showcased a beautiful array of pieces which included dresses for the corporate woman, the stylish woman to the elegant and sophisticated woman. Entertainment by Brooke Borg was impeccable throughout the evening. Loved every minute! After the show, we all enjoyed some food and drinks and proceeds from a raffle supported by a number of local companies including Sterling Jewellers, The Palace Hotel, Victoria Hotel, Niumee Malta and St James Clinic.
About the Collection Autumn/Winter 2016
Looking at the Luisa Spagnoli autumn/winter collection, one thing I can say is that all the coats, cloaks and jackets combinations all manage to make any outfit look effortlessly chic and are the types of garments you never want to take off!
I fell in love with the range of sleeveless dresses in black and white, red and a pale blue which perfectly highlight the female silhouette – particularly black and white numbers with the matching little hats. The dresses in the collection are designed with a mixture of textures and embroideries for that feminine touch. As for colours this season’s collection features natural shades, silver-grey, and elegant midnight blue, while ruby-red and electric blue add that dash of excitement to the most casual looks.
The line of accessories form the finishing touch of this chic collection with elegant leather bags and evening purses for the woman who wants a fabulous statement piece on her arm, handbags, shoulder bags and evening bags for any occasion. After visiting this fashion show, I will be looking more closely at this brand and I will be looking forward to sport some of their new items this season myself to show you here on the blog ! 😉
My Look for this event
I was very honoured to wear this pretty silk georgette dress with embroidered tulle skirt from the new Autumn/Winter Collection by Luisa Spagnoli. I paired it with shoes by Mineli, a pale gold purse also by Luisa Spagnoli. I loved my hairstyle today by He & She Salon which was styled with waterfall braids and curls. Make up here was by Daniela at Melita Hair & Beauty Clinic who went for a look using bronze and gold metallics and a dark red lipstick with gold shimmers. Thank you all for making me feel fabulous.
It was fun catching up with several beautiful ladies from Malta. Thank you for the invitation!
