First pinstripe of the season

Hello everyone! I hope you had a fantastic weekend and that you are all feeling re-energised enough to hit the coming week like you are on fire, full of motivation to be the best you can be! Following our few days in Paris, the weekend in Malta felt so nice. Home is always home and no matter where we escape to, I personally always love to come back home and sleep in my cosy bed and have a bath in my favourite bath tub.

So yes, back to Malta, straight over to the hair salon about an hour after landing and I rushed off to a couple of social events! So of course, let’s get back to some fashion and styling talk. It’s always awesome for me to flip through the mouth-watering River Island autumn/winter lookbooks online. Every season they do it so well. So well actually that you think it can’t get any better, ever, and that is when they hit the spot again, but harder, and again better. I really do enjoy the variety this brand always offers in terms of casuals and smarts and some things in between at affordable prices, so I visit the stores quite often for that something new to enjoy.

So when I casually walked into the stores at The Point at the weekend to perhaps pick one new item, what happened is that I end up walking out with two huge shopping bags and a complete look. Not only do I find a killer pair of pin stripes to kick off the winter season, but I jumped with joy to come across this coolest black suede jacket, black stiletto heels in a patent leather and a hot saddle bag. I just could not leave the shop without them all. So here I am showing you photos from a shoot about this look. Hello Malta. Back to business and some fun!

The Look

These pink striped trousers have got the best fit and they feel so comfortable. I paired them with this silk top, suede jacket and my stilettos. To finish off the look these pretty nude Valentino sunnies from Vision Opticians. I like this look for an active day with some important meetings that require me looking a little smart but approachable and also that kind of day when I don’t have time to go home to change from the office day to the after-work activity.

I would like to point out that for make up this time, I went for something out of my normal choice. With assistance from the lovely Janice at Make Up Mafia, we tried a totally clean and fresh look with warm eye shadow tones and highlighters from the new Claudia Schiffer Make Up collection which will be documented in my next blog post. Hair pulled back in a sleek pony tail. We’re in love.
