Adeje is a pretty resort area in Tenerife, laden with plush hotels and modern attractions to cater for the astute sunseekers. I had a very relaxing time with my family here, one of the days and it is here that we shot photos of this simple yet elegant smart casual outfit.
I wore a sleeveless white shirt from Mango’s latest collection, ripped Elisabetta Franchi denim shorts from Rebelli. For a Mediterranean fresh feel I went for blue coloured accessories so I wore this gorgeous set of earrings and matching necklace, a Tosca Blu bag, Michael Kors wedges and these gorgeous blue mirrored shades by Rayban .
I have two little confessions to make. First of all denim shorts are one of my summer fetishes. Never enough of them in my collections and these ones are another pair I love. Secondly, apart from the passion of fashion and fashionable things, I do tend to prefer heels, wedges and pretty high-heeled sandals as opposed to flats because they elongate the legs and I do feel so much more confident in my skin. When you are not blessed with ultra-long legs like Brazilian model Giselle Bundchen’s but you have petite ones like mine, it is aesthetically more pleasing in my opinion. I’m not saying I will go to the beach in them or to shop for groceries as they certainly are not as comfy as pumps or flip flops but to an outing – yes always a little lift please! There!
