With the recent World Economic Forums’ Global Gender Gap Report showing that it will take 217 years to bridge the gap, it’s more important than ever that aim for progress and the time is now. Let’s keep voicing our opinions for better education for women, and career paths that are fair. It is not right for women to work as hard if not more than men in important positions and get half the salaries, packages and respect. We are on the right track but there is way more to be done. The energies in the world are changing. Can you feel them and we are so fortunate to be here at this time. Let’s all do our best to be the change we want to see in the world by our thoughts and actions every day of our breathing lives.
About the New Collection at Mangano
When thinking MANGANO Spring Summer 2018, think fashion without boundaries, the main theme is voyaging pirates wearing flowing dresses filled with ruffles with a touch of eighties glamour. Everything can be expressed in one word: ISTANBUL The city is a symbol and a union of two worlds and the garments from this collection reflect the contrast between the roots of remote civilization and everyday life with the result of surprising, extreme femininity.
In this collection we see wide ruffles, decorative shoulders, cinched waists, bustier-style belts and bare shoulders and legs which creates silhouettes with an impact. As you may notice this collection is filled with prints and embellishments which feature magic butterflies, stripes in various colours and fresh flowers which is why we have decorated our window with these flowers, bringing the collection to life. When looking at the full tulle skirts, sequined striped sweaters and jeans studded with crystals, one can only remember the iconic 80’s where MANGANO brings light to the glorious influencers of that era such as MADONNA! he collection makes sure to pay tribute to the past and anticipate the future by visiting the MANGANO stores in Sliema and at The Palace Hotel to see them up close.
I personally love this brand as it is so versatile and suits my ever-changing needs to look different according to the occasion at hand. Super stylish, elegant and a bit daring too.
Thanks for having me and baby Luna at your event. It is always a pleasure and an honour to meet and represent women who care about others and who wish to see positive changes in the world going forward.
