This week, I was invited to another pleasant event in Malta – a “Beauty Night Out ” at Melita Health & Beauty Centre. It was an occasion in which a lovely group of fashion and beauty bloggers from Malta and Gozo were invited to the large outlet in St Julians for some product launches, product sampling, shopping and socialising with the bonus of wines and canapes in a relaxed environment.
As always, the Melita Team were very organised with a full list of launches to present and they showed us around the shop to have a look first-hand. The staff were very helpful and available to answer any queries we had about any new products.
I was personally interested in the new mini Matte Me sets launched by Sleek Make Up. Sleek is a brand that really works well with my skin colour tone. I have been using their contour sets and long-lasting lip glosses for several months now and I’m quite hooked because they are very good quality, they give a natural glow to my skin and also they are very good value for money so when I indulge occasionally in a large haul, it doesn’t break the bank. I bought the Vino Tinto shade this time, which I will definitely be wearing this season!
Amongst other skincare, Clarins extra firming mask was launched this month. I also love the new gorgeous lipstick collections launched by Shiseido! It’s all about shades of red with this brand. And who is complaining?
Makeup for Occasions at Melita
I would also like to remind my followers, in case you didn’t know, that Melita also offer a wide range of services including make-up services for occasions such as parties, weddings or special events. I did enjoy this event in particular because I found some time to catch up with other lovely bloggers who I don’t usually have time to chat with, it was an after-work kind of event, ideal after a long day, and because the Melita team made us feel very welcome and well appreciated. We even got a very generous goodie bag with products to blog about and we received our loyalty programme card for bloggers which means that we will have more of an excuse to visit the outlet because of the discounts we now officially benefit from.
