Black and white has been trending since as long as we can remember in the fashion industry. It is a contrast that we never get tired of. In this fashion blog I will be talking about a look that I put together to attend two things on the same day, both events related to Porsche, the iconic brand renowned for its luxurious sportscars.
In the morning, I was scheduled for filming of an episode of Malta TV, an online TV channel I host and produce. I was to interview the Managing Director of Signature Brands, a company that offers driving experiences and rentals of luxury and sportscars on the island of Malta. To complement the subject, I wore this black and white outfit, with a sleek and slightly corporate look.
For this episode, I also had to drive a beautiful white Porsche Cayenne for 4 hours for the filming clips of the episode and it was such a pleasant experience. I love beautiful cars in general but I do admit to have a soft spot for Porsches and it drives beautifully.
I wore a white top and a short skirt by Rinascimento. The statement necklace by Porto finished off the outfit glamorously. I had my hair blowdried very straight with a sharp parting in the middle by Mixa’s Salon. I also chose to wear these two-tone shoes by Miss Selfrige because they are two toned too and they have a little bow at the back.
The filming, which you can have a look at below was a success.
In the evening of the same day, I was invited to attend the launch of the new Porsche 911 organised by Continental Cars at the Valletta Waterfront and I did not have time to go home to change outfit. So what I did is I layered the outfit with a Motivi black soft leather jacket and matched it with a black and white handbag and I was ready for this exciting event.
Needless to say the launch was a fabulous one and the new Porsche 911 is definitely looking better and better with every model launched.
The day was a long and rewarding one and one that I will certainly remember with a smile on my face. Until my next blog, I wish you all fashionistas out there a fantastic week.
