On Tuesday 14th June I attended a night of socialising and wellbeing to celebrate the official Launch Party of Niumee, (pronounced New Me) a brand new complex, an innovative hub in Mriehel that offers a wide range of aesthetic, cosmetic and beauty treatments all under one roof.
Situated in a modern and trendy venue, a team of well-established professionals in the beauty and healthcare industry including Maria Bugeja, Sue Caruana and Charlotte Sant Portanier have joined forces to launch a destination that offers both men and women a venue where they can keep well-groomed on a regular basis.
Niumee focuses on providing a unique customer experience by focusing on their clients to ensure satisfaction and working with qualified professionals and doctors to maintain the highest standard of excellence throughout and saving time and energy driving from one place to another. These days, time is very precious for all of us, so if we can get our services done in one morning or afternoon, then that will certainly make us happy!
My Look
Thanks to Rebelli, I wore this contemporary elegant short dress from Armani’s latest collection and paired it with a Roberto Cavalli pochette, black sandals by Stuart Weitzman and jewellery from Porto.
The Event
The event was held in the evening and saw a fantastic turnout of new and existing customers enjoying the atmosphere, asking questions and testing out some products they had on show. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere including live DJ music and dancing. There were jewellery stands and promotional stands by Trussardi perfume, Morellato and Teoxane, champagnes by J P Chenet and so much more!
When speaking with other guests, we all felt the same about the décor of the place. It is very cool and spacious with ultra modern design, painted in pristine white everywhere having modern soft furnishings and uber cool touches such as large contemporary lamps, colourful feature wallpapers and green turf carpets. The staff are welcoming and alert from the time you enter the reception to the time you are leaving and asking for another appointment.
I am personally so happy for Sue Caruana, Justine Cassano and Maria Bugeja because they are all career women who have a clear vision of the beauty and cosmetic industry. They love what they do and with this new project, their aim is to take things to another level – a level of continued excellence and innovation. I will be a regular customer here. I have been having my nails done by Sue and her team for the past 10 years, so I am a huge fan. I have also recently had the semi-permanent feathered tattooing done on my eyebrows, and I am very satisfied with the result.

Through their extensive years of experience in the field, the Niumee Team obviously has an excellent feel of what the customer wants and needs in this ever-changing world when everyone wants to look good and feel great every day. In today’s world we are all in a hurry with time being of the essence, so I find it very convenient to zoom out to the clinic, park in the large underground car park, get my nails done have a laugh with the ladies and head back to what it is I have to do next.
I have no doubt that Niumee will be constantly introducing the latest services available the minute they are introduced internationally meaning that if you want to keep up with trends that Hollywood celebs are taking, then pay this place a visit as the team will be certainly glad to assist you with your every desire. They have also just launched a gym and a juice bar so a quick lunch break trip here could also be an option on the cards.
