My Just Cavalli Dress

Spring and summer are definitely in the air! Shop windows are changing their displays from winter to spring presentations. I love this time of year in the Mediterranean, when it starts to get warmer and we get to enjoy some beach time and more open-air events. I can’t wait for beach days and summer fun!

Contrary to popular belief, print is not dead. Print is here to stay, it intertwines us through the fashion world with its enticing lines, geometric shapes, floral prints and animal print inspiration. When one single colour just isn’t enough for you, dive into the print world.

Every season, besides the usual basics and one tone clothes, I personally always tend to look out for clothes with interesting patterns, colours or exotic prints, the ones that look great when you have a sunkissed tan. They are a must to my happiness and feel-good factor!

Well this dress by Just Cavalli embodies all requirements on my check list. I like the style, the light-textured, body-hugging material and the wonderful prints on this dress. This is one I recently got from SYL Designer Wear at The Plaza Shopping Centre in Sliema. I paired it with a white bag from Cavalli Class and a pair of blue stiletto shoes by Suiteblanco.

Last week, I had the immense pleasure of driving around the island in this beautiful white Maserati by Signature Brands because I organised a photoshoot of some exotic cars now available for rent in Malta and I thought I would just sneak it into this shoot with this lovely dress.

Just Cavalli as a brand is well known for its extravagantly bright collections and this year the Just Cavalli Collection 2016 will also be very exciting! I will be looking out for some more printed pieces to add to my wardrobe. 

Tip of the week

As we all know, some prints can make you look bigger while some other can just look totally chaotic and unappealing. With such things to consider, it does sometimes seem like the safe thing to do is to keep away from prints.

But seriously, a wardrobe without prints will be extremely limited and can get quite monotonous and boring. Prints help add some exciting and much needed splash off different colours coming together to create a fun look. Have fun with prints too!
