Step Out of Your Comfort Zone Ladies

Hi there! I hope to find you all well and in good spirits! I am personally very excited as I am soon travelling to Sicily for a few days so I was hoping to share this blog before I set off to relax and enjoy some Italian food, wine and beautiful views with the family.

Today’s fashion blog is inspired by the saying “Step out of your comfort zone”. If you really break down the phrase, it means doing things that you do not feel comfortable doing. Getting outside of your comfort levels. I would therefore like to encourage you to push yourself in unfamiliar places, to do things that you wouldn’t normally do. Be it trying a new hair style or wearing a style of top or jacket you would not normally go for or simply try out a completely alternative colour lipstick. Well go on and try it! It is so exciting!

It just occurred to me that stepping out of your comfort zone can mean different things to different people. In my mind, stepping out of my comfort zone can sometimes mean:
*Doing an extreme sport or activity like swimming with sharks
*Trying a crazy foreign food
*Just allowing myself to get lost on holiday to simply explore hidden parts of a city
*Take time off to learn a new language or to sign up for a cooking course!

Everything on our lists can be accomplished with the “mind over matter” mentality. If we can think of it, then we can absolutely do it!

My Challenge Today

Truth be told, when it comes to lipsticks, I tend to go for the same three shades of pink, and red and maybe go crazy with a little bright orange. Booooring! So I spoke to myself and said “Graz, we have to make a change and try something totally different, just for the fun of it!”.

So I gave my friends Daniela and Jennifer at Melita Health & Beauty Clinic a call and asked them if they would be interested to work with me on this fashion project to try out different colours to match some lovely summer outfits I picked for summer and all the events we have scheduled in the calendar. They accepted and here we are with the first look.

The Look

A daring bright yellow lipstick to go with my white Elisabetta Franchi shirt dress and the fabulous V73 bag which have just landed at the Rebelli store in St Julians. I wore these cool Victoria Beckham shades and Michael Kors sandals and I was so ready to hit any pool party in town in style 
