Last week I was very pleased to attend the sixth edition of the biannual fashion event organised by Pink magazine and The Times of Malta. The event invited numerous fashion conscious ladies and gentlemen from across the island to socialise and enjoy a well presented fashion show by top fashion brands including Trussardi Jeans, Harmont & Blaine, Boux Avenue, Oasis, Oysho, M&Co, Ipanema and Rebelli.

The Look
This event required a statement fashion dress, so I went for this gorgeous Elisabetta Franchi dress from Rebelli. I wanted to wear something fun and from the current EF collection 2016. I wore it with my black and white Michael Kors purse and these black Stuart Weitzman sandals.
My hair was styled simple and sleek while the makeup was glamorous and strong, including lots of blues and dark greys on the eyes and nude lips. As earrings, I wore transparent long earrings by Swarovski. I think the whole look was a success because I received so many compliments throughout the night by other fashionistas and bloggers who I was glad to meet again and I got asked the question “Who are you wearing today?” by quite a few ladies.
About the event
Villa Rosa came alive for this special fashion event and was painted pink and blue with lighting, flowers by Romano Cassar. There were various areas set up at this venue simultaneously by brands including Guerlain, Renault and VIP Sliema who just launched their new brand of luxury watches Henry. It was a good idea to be able to see their products up close and get some further information I was interested to know.
The seating for the fashion show was set up around a circular pool which saw models splashing on a catwalk designed to be submerged inside the pool! It was pretty neat. Well done to the models for modelling so nonchalantly. I would be petrified!
The beautiful models wore the latest collections and must-have items by Trussardi Jeans, Harmont & Blaine, Boux Avenue, Oasis, Oysho, M&Co, Ipanema and Rebelli.
Their hair, as currently seen on many Hollywood celebs was pulled back in a wet look which I love and the make-up gave the model that sun-kissed glow with great contouring on the cheeks, executed to perfection by the team at Franks The Perfumery using Guerlain.

It was a pleasure to attend this event. These pictures are a few of my favourite pieces.
The Pink Fashion Show is also supported by Campari, Carolina Herrera, Delicia Catering, Diet Kinnie, Head & Shoulders, Henry London, Magnum, O’hea Opticians, Renault, Scholl Foothealth Centre and Vichy.
Organised twice yearly by Pink, Malta’s magazine for women, and the Times of Malta, the show has become an established and anticipated event on the country’s fashion calendar.
Thank you to all the sponsors for all the gifts and I look forward to the next one!
