Throwback to Malta’s Fashion Week earlier this year, do you remember my blog article about Ritienne Zammit’s show? I had certainly expressed great admiration for her collection entitled “Je Suis” (meaning I Am in French) and based on the theme of obsessions and addictions including money, religion, sex and drugs. This month, with help from Badass Wardrobe, I got the opportunity, to finally get my hands on one of her stunning designer pieces, this gorgeous dress shirt. Thank you Ritienne!
I wore it during my recent trip, one evening for pre-drinks on the Boardwalk which is one of the main hangout places aboard the Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas followed by a pleasant dinner with my husband at Izumi Japanese restaurant followed by a couple of hours in the ship’s Casino Royale. Yes, one of the advantages of being on a cruiseliner is that you get to do more things each day shorter period of time, without the hassle of driving out to the next destination as you normally would because of the large variety of amenities and entertainment options aboard the ship.
The Look
I styled this shirt-dress in a sophisticated way on this occasion by pairing it with my black Stuart Weitzman heels from Rebelli and this red designer bag from Porto. However, another way I thought I could wear it was with boots, a small leather rucksack and hair braided or in a high bun for a more fun look. The choice is yours, but this dress is very easy to wear in that sense. The prints are bold but very classy. Love love love it! I did receive many compliments from quite a few persons aboard the ship that night about the look. It always makes you feel good!
Love and light to all!
