Colour Pop in Tenerife

The weekend is here. I love Fridays, always have! January is just flying past. January, albeit painful to get back to after the Christmas holidays, is in my opinion the best month to make new annual goals, to get best holiday deals and to stock up on classic items during the January Sales for the next year! Who does not love a good old bargain! So, it is back to work in full swing, my calendar for the next month looking exciting and I cannot allow myself to get disheartened by the cold weather in Malta. No excuses to getting stuff done, including keeping up with fitness regimes, going out to meetings, running a business, being a mum and a wife! Weehaa! We will manage. Everything is possible.

As I was saying, January is the best time to book your next holiday destination, your next getaway so get on those laptops and get cracking. Where to next? We are planning something for February and something for March, just to keep us all on our tippy toes and this way I have my cravings for wanderlust kept under control.

While I do that and go over the options I have from the travel agency, allow me to show you some photos of this look I like, photographed in Tenerife by Mark Thornton, close to these vibrant permanent Street Art Murals in Lost Cristianos.

The Look

As you are getting to know me more and more, you are learning that when I shop, and style I do like very much to go for one whole look from head to toe, where possible. Why? Because it is for a reason that designers create fashion lines and not one off items. Styles and textures that complement eachother as well as stand alone. It is so that you can mix and match different items within the same collection that season.

In this particular case, I styled this casual chic look with a mix of high fashion brands from the same outlet and it worked out well for me too. Top and trousers are Elisabetta Franchi, shoes are Stuart Weitzman, the bag which was a Christmas gift is Michael Kors. All these items are from REBELLI designer boutique in Malta. To finish off the look, these gorgeous Versace sunglasses. What do you think about this blue and black combo against the background of artistic murals? Fashion and art in one wonderful colour pop!
