Let’s be totally honest: Getting dressed this time of year is no easy task when the aim is to stay warm and look trendy too. Yet when we look for inspiration, and click through our favourite style blogs, we realise that it is possible. So many stylish women and men manage to appear seasonally appropriate and dashing on a daily basis.
From adding a strategic belt to your winter coat, to accessorising with a new hat or scarf, I’m sure that you’ll pick up a few new clever examples of how to put pieces together and create outfits that are both impactful and stylish this winter.
So, as I am currently looking for new long-sleeve items to buy, with days getting colder and shorter, I thought of showing you this comfortable and chic dress I chose from SYL with the aim of wearing it to work with a blazer and then wear it in the night to events or dinner meetings. I would also like to show you a few accessories including waistcoats, scarves and bags from the shop that are all so beautiful. Eyewear accessories are also very important to finish your look so have a look at these two pairs from Michael Kors and Dolce e Gabbana fresh from the new collections.
With the talented photographer and friend Justin Ciappara, we shot these looks for you in Valletta. Just so you know, we had an audience for most of the time – a number of tourists enjoying a relaxing stroll from a day off their cruiseliners; They were watching, cheering taking photos to share with their friends on Facebook. Ha so there was no pressure at all!!
