We all enjoy a little getaway with our loved ones and this is what was planned for me last weekend. My husband kindly surprised me on Friday by booking a stay for us at the gorgeous Kempinski Hotel in San Lawrenz Gozo. It was a short but very pleasant weekend break, just enough for us both to benefit from a refreshing recharge to the soul and the mind, to give us some alone time and much needed relaxation. This resulted in giving us loads of positive energy for the hectic weeks ahead of us!
One of our stops was to one of the world’s most beautiful sandy beaches. For my international followers who don’t know Ramla il-Hamra (“Red Sands Bay”) is the biggest sandy beach on Gozo – a curving bay of warm golden-coloured sands fringed by twin rocky cliffs and backed by sandbanks thick with tamarisk and bamboo. One of my favourite things to do in Gozo is just to walk along the sandy beach, inhale the fresh air, listen to the sound of the waves On this day we shot this outfit, we were lucky to have a sunny day in November and some tourists were enjoying a swim.
My Look
This week was the first time I visited PAMA shopping centre. Wow! Another great shopping destination in Malta including a brand new Benetton outlet. Now I don’t know about you, but I have been a fan of this fun brand for many years and I’m so happy that they are now at PAMA too. So I did enjoy a shopping spree here with a few outfits that you will probably see in my blog in the coming weeks!
The Autumn/Fall 2016/2017 collection launched by Benetton as to be expected by the brand’s signature knits and beautiful colour bursts combined with classic basics to last you a lifetime. Men, women and children can have fun with colourful and comfortable streetwear with a price tag that doesn’t break the bank.
Sunday was dress down day for me. I wanted to relax and feel comfortable so I wore this outfit for my outing to Gozo’s world-famous beach Ramla Bay. This blue and green knitted top which has a cute zip detail at its rear. These blue stretchy trousers which will keep me warm when the humid days hit in. These cute sneakers from River Island as you saw in my recent Travel Look, a leather Ripani ruck sack and these lovely Ralph Lauren sunnies.
It was a marvellous little break. Thank you babes! Now I’m really looking forward to loads of exciting things this week including the Fashion Show to be held by PINK MAGAZINE at the Manoel Theatre, an event bringing together Malta’s most fashion conscious people and wonderful fashion brands. Let’s do this!
