Hard Rock Café chain of restaurants worldwide are famous for delivering delicious food in a vibrant atmosphere – simply world class service, fantastic food, and exciting live events. My husband and I are huge fans of this chain and for that reason we like to try out this experience in not only Malta but also a lot of the countries we visit. Apart from the food and drink, which are awesome, we like to look at the décor of each place and the memorabilia up on the walls, listening to the music playing on the TV screens and sometimes attend the live gigs by various artists. We’ve been to Hard Rock Cafes in Phuket Thailand, Las Palmas, London and this one in Tenerife to mention a handful – and we love it every single time.
Hard Rock Cafe in Las Americas Tenerife also lives up to that reputation. During our most recent three week holiday, we visited no less three times! We usually satisfy our cravings for savoury flavours by ordering the crisp salads, tempting appetizer platters, or the Legendary® Burger and we always share the chocolate brownie dessert with ice cream and cream. After dinner, we have a cocktail up on the roof terrace or outside in the al fresco area alongside the large fountains at the entrance. This is not the healthiest of foods, but every once in a while I allow it as long as I exercise regularly, it’s OK on my conscience.

With hundreds of unique locations around the world, it is really hard to believe that it all started off so innocently: the search for a good burger! For those who don’t know, this chain of theme restaurants was founded in 1971 by Isaac Tigret and Peter Morton in London. In 1979, the cafe began covering its walls with rock and roll memorabilia, a tradition which expanded to others in the chain to this very day to the hundreds of restaurants and casinos around the world.
