Princess of the Sun: Day 4 of Malta Fashion Week #MFWA2018

Inspired by wanderlust to exotic destinations and the love for our Maltese sunshine, I chose to wear this elegant yellow dress by Italian brand ROBERTA BIAGI and styled it my way. The first time I saw it in the store I fell in love with it, so I purchased it for this special week of fashion and elegance in Malta.

I love wearing yellow as it is a bright and happy colour. Vivid colours this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a more entertaining and vibrant version of our real selves. No matter how many we encounter living on an island, there is just something about sunny days that ignites happiness and reminds us of how beautiful the Mediterranean is. I’m just a huge fan of the colour yellow and all warm colours. They just brings more sunshine and positive energy into to my life and they go well with my tanned skin.

Thank you to photographer Carlo Jourdan, the person who I work with a lot all year round for capturing these photos, totally unedited and uploaded straight from the camera to the blog post.

I styled it with this unique looking bag that looks like a pretty luxury lantern with long drop diamente earrings and a large drop crystal ring to match the drops on the bag.

I am in love with the make up look that Natasha Polidano created for me. Can you see the little sparkly diamantes on my forehead? I loved wearing them! It made a great discussion ice breaker. Wow love your make up! Oh thank you. These events are great for socialising and networking. They are totally up my ally.

My hair, thanks to Michelle Dimech at Mixas (who is supporting me 100% by sponsoring my hair this entire fashion week) pulled up my hair in a high sleek ponytail using a Balmain ponytail extension which we imported from Paris in advance, purposely for me for this week. Thank you Michelle and girls. It was so comfortable and since it was quite windy yesterday, I was not worried about having a bad hair day or about being captured with messy hair. Great thinking!
