Baby it’s cold outside

On days like these, when the outside temperature in Malta is what my iPhone tells me – 10 degrees Celsius, there’s nothing else we can do than just get on with it and long for more favourable temperatures. If you have the luxury, escape to warmer destinations for a month or so and return in March!

Because it’s so unusually cold, I’m currently eyeing a couple of gorgeous puffer jackets and waiting anxiously for them to go on SALE. I’ve also found the excuse to go on a shopping spree this week for thick warm scarves and new boots, just to cope better with the trauma from beach weather in Tenerife to cold weather in Malta.

So, the reality is that I’m back on the beautiful island of Malta, back to business and back to socialising so I need to dress up, and go with the flow and welcome new beginnings and new opportunities. Back to Medasia Fusion for more delicious cocktails and sushi bites in a relaxed atmosphere.

My Look

Today I’m sharing with you photos of this glamourous outfit I just got. It is all from one store – River Island at The Point. Firstly, this practical and stylish black three-quarter coat, ideal style for both day and night. This black top with a lace design and ribbons at the rear, which can be worn as an evening top and even with a pair of jeans and a blazer for example. I also chose this gold metallic statement piece, to experiment a little and practise what I preach. If you are blessed with a taller figure, this style of skirt will suit you even better.

Last but not least, I accessorised with these gorgeous shoes and the little black sequins bag with a gold chain and gloves for an elegant finish. So as a total look, it is black and gold throughout and easy to wear winter and summer, less the coat and gloves. If you are the type to feel super cold and you prefer closed shoes, you can wear black stilettos or platform heels instead. Personally, as much as I love high boots, I love my sandals very much even in winter in below zero temperatures and m not scare to wear them when I know I’m going to an indoor venue for dinner or just a party. Yes! That’s just Grazielle haha.
