I’m not totally sure if time is on my side, because I never seem to have enough of it, but what I do know is that I treasure it. Talking about time, for the first time ever, I’m wearing a watch. Not just a watch, a beautiful white watch, a statement watch by Christina Jewelry at 202 Jewellery that will remind me to be on time wherever I go and to appreciate all these moments that will come only once but last a lifetime in my heart. This watch – like our life on earth – is beautiful and I cannot stop looking at it either every time I wear it.
Convenience, saving time, doing things properly but without spending two seconds more than necessary, that’s me. Being organised is key and so is having a good support system. Especially when you are a mom and working fulltime, it is the only way to do it if you want to get things done. Maybe it is the only way to make sure time is on my side!
The Look
Here in Dubai, I wore the watch with this white Plein Sud dress from the Outlet, and paired it with silver shoes and purse from River Island. Hair was pulled back in a sleek ponytail to give a more sophisticated look. Makeup was aptly done for me by Jean Zammit, who focused on creating this look – dark eyes with a blend of various dark shades. Love the finished look. It was perfect for my dinner date at ZUMA in Dubai that night.
Time is of the essence. I promised myself a few years ago, when I suffered a bad accident which almost left me bed-ridden and paralysed for life, that I would use the time I have to do all the things I want to do and not to let negative things or people stop me from doing them. Unfortunately we all come across difficult moments, it is part of life, we also meet persons who make our lives more challenging, but it is the attitude we have during these moments and how we treat others is something we have to be careful about. Time is too short to be spent being tough, rendering animosities or registering wrongs. Use it to highlight the beauty and the blessings instead.
