Hi Everyone! Hope that October is treating you well! Following my trips to Milan and Las Vegas, I have been catching up with everything and I feel I’m finally back on track and back to business and lifestyle mode in full swing! One thing that I often look for as a parent is where to go with my family, places to relax and watch my daughter have some kiddy fun while my husband and I can maybe enjoy a good bite to eat. Where can you take your child to enjoy some free entertainment in an organized and safe environment, somewhere clean and pleasant? You often ask me that too. When you become a parent, your life changes and the children come first many a time and it’s a lovely feeling to let go and oblige, seeing them giggle and have fun with other children.
Where am I getting to today? I do have a cool event update to share with you this month here on my Blog. One of them is about this event happening Every Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon throughout October. News is that you can join in the nautical themed month of free activities and enjoy quality time with family, and friends against the beautiful backdrop of historic bastions, fortifications and the sea at Valletta Waterfront.

For those in search of a relaxing time with good food and entertainment, the Valletta Waterfront’s restaurants, bars and shops present a variety of offerings catering to different tastes. This family-friendly destination has proved to be a highly popular destination in the last years. The small chapel of the Flight to Egypt by the Holy Family further creates a unique ‘village’ ambience. After the photo session here I stopped for a divine lunch at BROWN’s restaurant where we had an outstanding platter of mixed seafood and fish cooked to perfection and relaxed in the sunshine sipping an Aperol Spritz overlooking the cruise liner that was docked. It was like being on holiday I tell you. Excellent food and service and what a wonderful atmosphere it is here at Valletta Waterfront! Scroll down to see pics of the food 😉
Every Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon during October will offer a mix of music, fun life-size educational games, giveaways and more. Little guests can also enjoy free activities such as balloon modelling, face painting, crafts, games, colouring-ins, meet & greets with all-time favourite characters, puppet shows, and bouncy castles.
For the second time, the Armed Forces of Malta will be once again holding their annual Open Day for the general public at Valletta Waterfront,on the afternoon and evening of Saturday 20th October. During this event, the AFM will showcase various assets ranging from helicopters, vehicles, weapons and a mini assault course to have a taste of military stamina. A special opportunity shall also be taken to display various sea assets that the AFM owns in order to allow attendees to take a closer look at its roles and responsibilities out at sea.
Halloween Activities at Valletta Waterfront
The atmosphere at Valletta Waterfront will take on a scary tinge for Halloween. For the last weekend of October, as well on the evening of Wednesday 31st October look out for amusing Halloween fun, including trick-or-treating and roaming children’s animation along the waterfront. Shadowy silhouettes will appear against the coloured doors of the historic Valletta Waterfront buildings.
The little ones will have the opportunity for trick-or-treating, trying their hands at fun Halloween crafts, or simply jumping around on one of the bouncy castles. Spooky nautical characters will roam the promenade with treats. Children and adults alike are invited to join in the fun and wear a costume!
All activities are free of charge.
