We all need that perfect little black dress and any excuse for another one! Whether you are going to a semi formal, black tie event, or just on a hot date, a black cocktail dress is always the safe choice – You just have to basically think of your style and budget for that new LBD you want next. Right?
This dress from London F Café must be one of my top picks for this party season. When I wore it to events and parties this month, styled with my Stuart Weitzman shoes and Michael Kors bag and a short leather jacket I felt so good and confident and I loved every minute when I wore it. Albeit a little daring with its low cut at the front, when I went out with it, I received many compliments. So I just had to capture some pictures of it to show you.
I organised a photoshoot by night for this special outfit. Mdina, Malta’s silent city was our destination of choice and it was quite chilly that night. At one point, while shooting in one of the narrow streets with cobbled floors and yellow lighting, we had a group of some 40 Italian students stop to take videos of us. It was quite fun to have an audience. We tried to pretend that there was no one.
I love challenging myself as you know by now, and in this case, my challenge of the night was trying not to smile and pretend I was not freezing! Yes, I laugh and talk and smile all the time so looking serious takes much more focus haha. I must say that I’m pretty happy with the results. Thanks to Justin Ciappara the photographer and friend, who once again did a great job at capturing the mood of the night and the dress – mysterious and chic! Thanks Ju! After this shoot, I drove off to a fashion event followed by the launch event new Audi Q2 at Continental Cars in Malta. Yes!
