Here’s an exciting fashion update from KARL LAGERFELD! Well, thanks to #TeamKarl in Milan, I am now receiving up to the minute news and invitations to attend their events! I did not make it to this launch, but I am still happy to share the news with you here on my Blog! KARL LAGERFELD is pleased to introduce the first KARL LAGERFELD DENIM collection, launching for the Spring 2019 season. Embracing the brand’s signature DNA, the styles have an iconic denim aesthetic that is simultaneously rock-chic, sporty and sophisticated. Throughout the collection, distinct embellishments include logo ribbons and patches, glossy zips, thick embroideries and quality linings, while the styles are fully made in Italy.
The women styles are offering features and variety of silhouettes including skinny, straight, boyfriend, flare and jogger fits. For elevated workwear, there is a dark wash denim suit with tailored trousers and a matching blazer. For a rock-chic look, there is a biker inspired moto jacket that can be paired with a jean skirt or skinnies. As warm weather arrives, there are also red denim shorts with a distinct Karl “signature” stitched into the hemline.
Athletic styles are topped with oversized logo ribbon branding, while a neon-themed capsule features fluorescent stitching in pink, green, yellow and orange. Some jeans have a playful “ikonik” Karl cartoon popping out from the back pocket. In addition to the bottoms, the women’s collection includes a range of denim outerwear, dresses, shorts, shirts and blazers.
The men’s offering features jeans, outerwear and shirts. For a sharp look, there is a tailored jean jacket with matching skinny jeans — both in a silvery dark wash — plus button-down denim shirts in washes from light to dark. For weekend wear, there are relaxed fit bomber jackets with oversized logo branding, plus drawstring waist denim pants with KARL LAGERFELD ribbons running down the legs. Some statement-marking jeans feature an all-over print of the KARL silhouette logo.
KARL LAGERFELD DENIM will be available at KARL LAGERFELD stores, online at KARL.COM, and via a premium distribution network of wholesale partners, from this Spring 2019!!
