This week I was privileged to attend the Press Event for Circus SHOWERS 2018 which was held at Intercontinental Malta. Last year if you recall I had so much fun covering a “Behind the Scenes Feature for EBM Magazine” and this year, I have no doubt that we will be there again to let our hair down and meet some beautiful people – and trust me beautiful people at this party you will see hundreds!

In its sixth edition of Malta’s most anticipated pool party is on the horizon. Cultivating a growing reputation as a ground-breaking, unmissable event, Showers attracts not only local party crowds but also revellers from high-end destinations including Dubai; This year the organisers have of course added even more doses of extra va-va-voom! Taking it up a notch, this year’s circus-themed festival edition, spread over a whole sizzling weekend, promises to be the most extraordinary so far.
Kicking off on Friday with a VIP event at Hugo’s Infinity, headlined by Bon Voyage, Saturday’s Main Event then goes down at the lush Café Del Mar. Ruby will be hosting a kickass Afterparty at Kuromi, while on Sunday, a Showers Detox party at Sky Beach. But this is not all, Showers 2018 will be taking flight to the world’s most vibrant clubbing island, Ibiza, for an after-after party to end all after-parties. Partnering with Nikki Beach Ibiza, Showers will be hosting the event on 4th August; the only Maltese organisation to ever host an event on this cool party island. The cherry on top of the Ibiza cake, will be main act Tiffany, who will be flying out exclusively for the event.
Apart from its signature glamour, dynamic atmosphere and a multi-sensory feast for all those who love a great party, plus an unprecedented, unique circus festival vibe, Showers 2018 will be flying in four thrilling acts to make the ‘Alternative Circus’ theme even more special, plus unique entertainment protagonists who are now synonymous with Malta’s most thrilling event.
