This year, being my first year being part of the Malta Fashion Week media team, I’m very pleased to have made so many new acquaintances and friends. From bloggers, to photographers to makeup artists, models and designers – so many interesting people who join forces through similar passions – love for fashion and the arts.
One of the persons who I got introduced to is fashion designer and entrepreneur Nilay Camilleri , designer and managing director at Nilara. Before I met her, I had no idea what wonderful energy she exudes. Apart from being a business woman and a resourcefully creative artistic designer, she is such a pleasant person to be around, always smiling and passing funny comments.
Nilay and her team are following my fashion and travel blog and hence invited me to wear one of their dresses from her collection during Fashion Week for the evening of their show. That dress is hanging in my bedroom and waiting to be worn tonight!
So …to say Thank You to Nilay, I have a tiny surprise for you today. I collaborated with the sales manager Donnha and we picked another dress – one from the Black Collection 2015, which must be one of the most photographed designer collection on the island by fashionistas who went crazy over it after last year’s Fashion Week. But we thought it would make you smile
I hope that you Nilay and all my followers like these black and white photos. I had to face one of the windiest days ever and I was not wearing any makeup at all which is the first time ever in my blog!
