Let’s Get Away! An all white look for summer fun

Hi there and welcome to my Blog where I share fashion looks, travel posts, restaurant reviews, life coaching blogs, hotel reviews, lifestyle posts, crystals and gemstones information, car test drives, event updates and all the things that resonate with me really! Feel free to browse through all the Blog Sections in your own free time.

Today, I m happy to share this all-white fashion look with you, inspired by the summer getaways coming up and the fun handmade accessories and badges by DaisyQDesign who I ‘ve been introduced to recently. In summer, I find it so much fun to play around with hair accessories,  to make a simple hairstyle or outfit pop and in some cases, I let the accessories be the main focus of the outfit. All you need for looks like these is some simple basic dresses, tops and trousers and a tad of pre-planning mixed with a little imagination. To have a successful one,  you just have to own it and enjoy your time!

About the look

I fell in love with this dress online on a site which I now don’t have a recollection of.  It was a sporadic purchase while scrolling through my Facebook feed a few weeks ago while at the hair salon. I thought it would be a super addition to my summer dresses and when it arrived in the mail, I unpacked it like a little kid receiving a present for being a good girl, and, I couldn’t wait to wear it because I love it. Do you relate? Of course, you do!

I styled it very simply with a pretty loose hair bun style, a soft glam make up look thanks to the team at MAC Cosmetics store in Valletta and for an interesting styling glam touch, I went for a beautiful unique handmade brooch attached to the waistline to look like a belt. This brooch was hand made over 4 days by the talented Margarita at Daisy Q Design using Swarovski crystals, sewn one by one with precision and love. I also had one of her beautiful hair accessories attached to the back of my bun,  and I loved how it all turned out.

This day, I was joined shoot by my daughter Luna, “bunny” and fellow blogger Inna Kay at the rooftop of the AX The Palace Hotel Malta. Both Luna and Inna were also styled wearing pretty handmade accessories. Girls just wanna have fun and we loved sharing this moment together. I will be telling you more about this special collaboration in one of my upcoming blogs next week!

So stay tuned!
