How to wear yellow and green

An outfit post in collaboration with Gerry Weber

As leaves slowly turn into to the most beautiful Spring colours, so does my wardrobe. Other than the usual suspects such as black leather jackets and denim jackets, there is forest-green, deep yellow, and pale purples making their way out of the dark. I love our crisp mornings, but I still have a hard time dressing accordingly this time of year. Most of my mornings at the moment, I run out with either a coat too warm, or no coat at all for feeling warm after our morning exercise routine, so I tend to carry a spare white or black cardigan in the car for when I am feeling too hot or too cold.

I’ve really been into emerald green lately (I actually wore an emerald green dress the other day too!). This colour will be popping up everywhere this season, as seen on fashion runways last Fashion Week in Milan and London. What I especially love about emerald green is that it’s an incredibly flattering colour on all skin tones and body types, and it definitely is a perfect colour to counterbalance the neutral tones that you see in most fall and spring wardrobe pieces. I thought it would be fun to put together a colourful yellow and greenlook to show how you can wear the trend.

I love this pretty green dress and yellow leather jacket I wore on Sunday from the latest collection at Gerry Weber in Sliema. I love the simplicity of the dress and the relaxed style, ideal to work both during the week for work days and also for weekend outings or lunches with the family. Here I paired together the green dress and the soft yellow jacket from GERRY WEBER for their style and comfort and had my hair styled with soft curls for that morning glam look. Over the weekend, I enjoy to look smart yet feel comfortable and relaxed too.

Gerry Weber offers feminine fashion for the modern, self-confident woman. The outfits from the Gerry Weber collection are ideally matched in terms of cuts and colours and are suitable for many combinations. The casual uncomplicated collections are sporty and feminine for everyday use. Their shop in Malta is in Sliema and I only discovered it lately and was impressed by the number of good quality brands under one roof you find here and sizes start from x small to the x large for those ladies asking about where to find larger sizes from, here is one good option on the island.

To complete the look, I wore a pyrite gemstone pendant with a long chain. As you know I wear so many crystals pendants from my jewellery collection at Gemstones & Jewellery by GC every day for both their look and their energetic properties, to heal my energy and to boost my manifesting power. I think that this pyrite stone jewellery design with its golden shimmer truly elevates any look, and can make an outfit feel polished and chic. With this outfit, I think it really popped nicely!
