As I mentioned in my PREVIOUS BLOG POST, the Chamber of Fashion hosted “AN INTERNATIONAL NIGHT OF CULTURE THROUGH FASHION” an evening which gave us all the wonderful opportunity to witness and appreciate first-hand the stunning collections of various renowned fashion designers from around the world including Croatia and Africa. The event also raised charity funds in aid of the Community Chest Fund, under the patronage of H.E. the President of Malta.I was honoured to be there this year together with my “Bloggers Family” from Malta and many other esteemed guests. Under the stars of a splendid summer night, we walked into the gardens of the Verdala Palace onto a red carpet and then we were directed to our seats for the show to begin!
I chose to wear this beautiful gown from Raja & Co for a million reasons, starting from the design, the fabric and its uniqueness. There were hundreds of dresses to choose from in the store, one more beautiful than the other, all colour coded and organised by size to make the selection more smooth.
This red dress immediately caught my eye on the rack in the boutique and it gave me the feel of an Indian princess when I wore it. The gold intricate embroidery with the little gems and the style of it just took me to another place! The sweetest thing is that when I asked the owner of the boutique Jeff Francalanza what brand this dress is he said that the dress is by a well renowned Indian designer and since I have a soft spot for India, I decided without batting an eye lid that this would be the one.
This evening I had my hair pulled back in an elegant upsttylewith a middle – parting all courtesy of Sarah and Lee at Lee’s Hairstylist. As for the make up look, I had it done professionally with some lovely Indian inspired make up by Janice Darmanin. She did a fab job as always!
As for the rest, the photos by Justin Ciappara can do all the talking.
Very happy to have been here. The event was three hours long which gave me some time to mingle with guests and some members of what I can now call my Bloggers Family in Malta and what you all didn’t see in the Instagram stories is that on the way back home, I drove back with Line Young Peteri a beautiful soul, an inspiring woman and we had such a good laugh and I think I will never forget that magical drive. One for the soul.
Hope you enjoyed this post! I loved preparing it for you!
