This must officially be my last look from Malta Fashion Week –this super cute mini dress from the new collection ATRONYMIC at Fashion Week by one of Malta’s most creative fashon designers Ritienne Zammit.
I shot this look with photographer Mark Soler some half an hour before the final day of shows started and I couldn’t be happier. For the final day, I pushed myself out of my comfort zone in the sense of usually going for a classic look. This dress from the new collection called ATRONYMIC was purposely tailor-made for me for this special day. I left it in Ritienne Zammit’s hands to surprise me with something and this idea turned out just fine. My challenge was going to be how to style it! Challenge accepted!

Following the huge success of the photoshoot “Passion is Everything” held in Milan this February for a fashion magazine with my bestie Denis, Ritienne was so happy and impressed with our work that she promised she would create looks for us both for this day. I felt honoured and grateful and I wore it with pride and joy knowing that this woman – a super talented woman made it with her own hands for me and I would be wearing a unique piece from the new collection! It is one of the biggest honours you can receive as a blogger/influencer. It is like receiving an award for your work that year. Thank you sooooo much. I hope I did it justice! It’s so amazing.
I styled it in a fun street style way for the last day of shows with this black Mangano hat, shoes I had worn once for a fashion week look in Malta last year, these new Prada sunnies from Vision Opticians and this new Elisabetta Franchi bag I just bought from the latest collection purposely for Fashion Week.
You will notice that the top part of the dress has a print showing a rabbit while the bottom part is a fine black and white chequered print which we saw on the runway last night. Now in Maltese the word “rabbit” is “Fenech “ which also happens to be one of the most common Maltese surnames. Her new collection was all about surnames in Malta and it was so interesting to see how she playfully worked with various prints to create very unique and ready-to-wear pieces, some classic and some street style. Loved her new collection and to see photos of the new collection launched yesterday CLICK HERE.
Hair by Mixas Salon curled by hair to create volume and bounce. My make up was by INGLOT MALTA and lots of black and silver eye shadow was applied beautifully with a red lip for a colour pop and to match my new Prada sunnies.
I loved this look too, my 8th and final look before the Gala Look tonight. Ritienne Zammit’s dress was able to show a casual fun side of my personality, the dancer side, the performer side, the 43 year old lady and career mum who is not afraid to have some fun and to again take some risks in a week dedicated to creativity, fashion and the arts. Enjoy the photos!
Tonight, Saturday 2nd June will be the closing night of the event at the much awaited Chamilia Awards which will be held at the newly refurbished Triton Fountain Piazza and for the 20th anniversary of Fashion Week we are in for quite a few surprises including one of the longest red carpets in Maltese history, so …tune in on my Instagram stories to see what I will be wearing of course! I will interview some other nominees in different categories such as the Best Male Model and Best Hair Stylist Category. It will be my pleasure to once again share this experience with you once again being one of the nominees this year for Best Fashion Influencer.
Love and light to all
